Pricing and limits

What limits can apply?

Transaction limits are part of the approved account configuration and are confirmed in the individual offer, not published as a universal figure. Limits can apply per transaction, per period, per currency, per payment rail or per direction. A capability being available does not mean it is unlimited.

Why limits are per customer

Limits are part of the risk assessment, not a product tier. They reflect the company's expected transaction activity, average and maximum transaction value, corridors, industry and settlement volume — the same inputs that shape pricing.

This is why requesting a limit is a normal part of onboarding: state the volumes you actually expect, including peaks, rather than a conservative figure that will need revisiting on your first busy month.

When a limit is reached

A payment above an applicable limit is not processed as a smaller one. Splitting a payment to fit under a limit is the wrong response and can itself trigger a review. Ask for the limit to be reviewed through your account manager instead.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see our limits? In the account offer, and thereafter in your account documentation.

Why does another company have a higher limit? Limits follow the approved profile: activity, values, corridors, industry and compliance assessment.

Can a limit be increased? A change is possible under the applicable terms and normally requires a review, often with updated evidence of activity.

Does an available service mean an unlimited service? No. Availability and limits are separate.

This article is explanatory. The individual offer and applicable terms prevail if they differ from it.
