Why there is more than one document
The platform, the commercial terms for your company and any service performed by another institution are not the same thing, so they are not governed by the same paper.
- The customer agreement is the contract for the relationship.
- The individual offer is what makes your configuration concrete. Two customers can hold the same agreement and have different currencies, rails, identifiers, limits and prices.
- Provider terms apply where another institution performs part of the service. Which providers are involved is covered in Who provides the underlying services?.
What to read before you accept
Check that you can see, in writing:
- the legal name of the entity you are contracting with;
- the services covered and the permitted use of the account;
- the currencies, account details and payment rails included;
- transaction limits;
- pricing, including what is charged separately;
- who holds or safeguards funds, and whether any protection scheme applies;
- governing law;
- the complaints route;
- suspension and termination rules;
- how the documents can be changed.
Which document wins
An explanatory article on this site never overrides a document you accepted. If a page here and your agreement disagree, your agreement is correct and the page should be reported so it can be corrected.
Within your documentation, the individual offer records what was approved for your company. A general statement about what the platform can do is not a statement that a capability was approved for you.
Frequently asked questions

The offer and a public page disagree. Which is right? The offer. Please also report the page.
Can the terms change? Change mechanics are set out in the applicable documents. Read that clause before you sign it.
Do I need to keep the offer? Yes. It is the record of what was approved for your company, including limits and pricing.
This article is explanatory. The documents you accepted prevail if they differ from it.
