Cookie Policy

2PAYAPP uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively “Cookies”) when you visit 2PAYAPP.com and any other 2PAYAPP managed website or mobile app that links to this Policy (collectively the "Services"). This Policy explains what Cookies are, exactly which ones we set, who receives the data they generate, and how you can change or withdraw your choice at any time.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are automatically downloaded to your computer or device when you visit a website. Cookies send data back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or share data with other websites that recognize that cookie.

Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize a user's device over time. They can be used for lots of different activities, such as letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, personalizing your online experience, and generally improving the user experience. They can also help to ensure that the advertisements you see online are more relevant to you and your interests.

How do we use Cookies?

We use Cookies for three purposes, and no others. Each purpose is a category you can decide on separately in our cookie banner.

  • Strictly necessary. These keep the site working and record the choice you make about the other two categories. They are set whatever you decide, because without them the site cannot remember the language you are reading in or the fact that you answered the banner at all. You cannot switch them off, and under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive they do not require your consent.
  • Analytics. These measure how the site is used — which pages are opened, how visitors arrive, which links are followed — so that we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this. Nothing in this category is set unless you allow it.
  • Marketing. These let us measure our advertising and show advertising that is more relevant to you. We use the Meta Pixel for this. Nothing in this category is set unless you allow it.

No Cookie in the analytics or marketing categories is placed before you allow it. If you refuse, or simply do not answer, the scripts that would set them are never loaded — the refusal is not a setting we promise to honour, it is a script that does not run.

Which Cookies we set

Strictly necessary — set whatever you choose:

  • “NEXT_LOCALE” — the language code you are reading the site in, so the site opens in the same language on your next page. Expires when you close your browser.
  • “aiparitor_consent” — the choice you made in the cookie banner: which categories you allowed, when you decided, and which version of these categories you were asked about. It holds no identifier. Stored for 180 days, after which we ask you again. (2PAYAPP runs on the Aiparitor platform, which is where the name comes from.)

Analytics — set only if you allow the analytics category:

  • “_ga” — distinguishes one browser from another so that visits can be counted. Set by Google Analytics. Expires after 2 years.
  • “_ga_” followed by a container identifier — holds the state of the current visit for the specific Google Analytics property this site reports to. Expires after 2 years.

Marketing — set only if you allow the marketing category:

  • “_fbp” — identifies a browser to Meta so that a visit can be attributed to an advertisement. Set by the Meta Pixel. Expires after 90 days.
  • “_fbc” — records the advertisement you arrived from, and is set only if you reached the site by clicking a Meta advertisement. Expires after 90 days.

Expiry periods for the Google and Meta Cookies are those published by those providers and are set by them, not by us.

Who receives the data

The strictly necessary Cookies are read only by this website. Nobody else receives them.

If you allow the analytics or the marketing category, the Cookies in it are set by, and their data is sent to, the provider behind that category:

  • Google Analytics — provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and by Google LLC in the United States. Google’s own explanation of how it handles this data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Meta Pixel — provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, and by Meta Platforms, Inc. in the United States. Meta’s cookie policy is at www.facebook.com/policies/cookies.

Both providers process data in the United States as well as in the European Economic Area. Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which both providers are certified, and on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. If you do not allow these categories, no data reaches either provider and no such transfer takes place.

How long do Cookies stay on my device?

It depends on the Cookie, and each one is listed above with its own expiry. A “session” Cookie is deleted when you close your browser; a “persistent” Cookie stays until the date it was given, or until you delete it yourself.

Your decision about the analytics and marketing categories is kept for 180 days. After that we ask you again rather than assuming the answer still holds. We also ask again if we change what a category covers — for example if we were to add a provider to it.

How to change or withdraw your choice

You can change your mind at any time, and it is as easy as giving the choice in the first place: select “Cookie settings” at the foot of any page on this site. The same panel opens, showing what you currently allow, and you can turn a category off, turn one on, or refuse everything.

Withdrawing consent stops the relevant scripts from loading on your next page view and tells the provider that consent has been revoked. It does not delete Cookies already stored on your device — your browser can do that, and its help menu explains how. Your browser can also block Cookies in general, though blocking the strictly necessary ones means the site will not remember your language or the fact that you have answered this question.

Refusing the analytics and marketing categories costs you nothing on this site: every page works exactly the same either way.
